2022 Summary Event of the Regional Hub

 On January 26, 2023, the 2022 Summary Event of the Regional Hub of Shida Kartli was held.

The event was opened by Marika Mgebrishvili, the Head of the Association of Society Biliki, and Stephan Malerius - Head of the Regional Programme “Political Dialogue South Caucasus”, STAR Project Director, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) The activities of the Shida Kartli regional hub were presented by Marika Mgebrishvili, the head of the Association of Society Biliki, and Lia Gorelishvili - the coordinator of the Shida Kartli regional hub. Temur Irik and Elene Ulubelashvili, members of the youth club from Khashuri Municipality, spoke about the project implemented by young people - "Volunteering Moving Camp". Mamuka Zolotariov and Tamar Tinikashvili, members of the youth club from Gori municipality, shared information on increasing youth involvement in municipal services. Giorgi Talakhadze - Chairman of the Youth Council of Gori Municipality and Laura Khchoyan - Member of the Youth Council of Gori Municipality made a presentation on the activities of the Youth Council of Gori Municipality. At the end of the meeting, the winners of the competitions of  "Creative Ideas and "Best Volunteer Initiative " were awarded.

The meeting was held within the framework of the project “Civil Society STAR Initiative: CSOs as Sustainable, Transparent, Accountable and Resilient Development Actors in Georgia“(2021-2025). The project is funded by the European Union (EU) and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS). The works of Shida Kartli Regional Hub are run by Society Biliki.
