Situational Analysis

Within the framework of Society Biliki’s project Development of Local Employment Policy – Improvement of Disabled People Rights” a situational analysis was created regarding the employment of persons with disabilities in Gori, Khashuri, and Akhaltsikhe. According to the situational analysis, a corresponding report was prepared.

The report reviews the awareness of the UN Convention among civil representatives employed in selected municipalities, persons with disabilities, and their parents, as well as their practical experience based on their own assessments.
Based on the situational analysis, the invited expert will start meetings with the working groups created within the framework of the project in order to prepare municipal action plans to promote the employment of people with disabilities.
We remind you that the goal of the project “Development of Local Employment Policy – Improvement of Disabled People Rights " is to promote local municipal policy in order to improve the legal status and protection of people with disabilities. The target municipalities of the project are Gori, Khashuri, and Akhaltsikhe.
